LAMB SHANKS (OR PORK LOIN)
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Lamb Shanks or Pork Loin
- 1 large white onion quartered
- 1 carrot
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- All Purpose Flour for dredging
- Kosher Salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350f
- Trim as much fat as possible
- Season with salt and garlic powder
- Dredge in All Purpose Flour
- Brown in oven uncovered, approximately 10 minutes
- Pour off fat
- Add onion
- Pour 1 can of tomato sauce over shanks
- Cover and let roast at low heat 250f until done (about 2 hours)
